The Be Aware Tour is a mission of Radical Unity as One Planetary Family. This includes people of all races, creeds, and economic levels. The Be Aware Movement is spreading across the nation with musical pioneer and Jedi Knight, TaliasVan & The 11-piece Bright & Morning Star Band.
These change agents are traveling the country promoting awareness through these higher-consciousness concerts and through TaliasVan's
Be Aware Proclamation.
TaliasVan is not only a musician; he is a spiritual leader and visionary, a social and political change agent, an environmentalist, a father, an activist, and the author of several books. He is one of the bright hopes for justice and compassion for the underprivileged in America and the world.
Throughout his career, TaliasVan has recorded nineteen 45 r.p.m. singles, one 33 r.p.m. album, and most recently several CDs and won an Aurora Award for “Best Live Music Concert” DVD, in which he shared honors with Disney and Fox Media. He has supervised the creation of and presently manages six other bands besides his own eleven-piece Bright & Morning Star Band, in addition to writing CosmoWorship™ music for his forty-voice choir and orchestra.
TaliasVan was the pioneer and innovator of the first New Age Vocal album in 1985, and now he introduces CosmoPop® music. CosmoPop is higher-consciousness vocal music and is the predecessor of what is now known as “Conscious Pop.” BenDameean Steinhardt, Director of Global Change Music Record Label, says that CosmoPop is spiritually hip vocal music. CosmoPop is a fusion of styles including rock, jazz, Celtic, world, mantra, country, and more. The lyrics and messages of CosmoPop attract people from all religions and walks of life who come together under the banner of “One Universal Father, One Planetary Family.” TaliasVan & the eleven-piece Bright & Morning Star Band have toured the western U.S. and are doing a four-state tour this Summer 2011, presenting Be Aware Proclamation Benefit Concerts that support scholarships for international students, rehabilitation programs, and agricultural internships.
In 2011 TaliasVan is launching the Be Aware Festival and Tour to Durango and Boulder, Colorado; Santa Fe, New Mexico; as well as playing in his local state of Arizona in Tucson and Phoenix, presenting concerts that are focused on raising awareness of important environmental, social, and spiritual issues we face in our world today. TaliasVan has kept from compromising with Hollywood and represents a new paradigm for a true global change artist. His musical activism is not tokenism. In his own words, he says, “It’s not about being famous; it’s about serving humanity.”
TaliasVan’s CosmoPop lyrical messages are common to all people who have been through the hard knocks of life. He feels that his lyrical content can identify with just about anybody who has suffered in life. He sings of his own hard knocks with faith in the Creator and hope in a positive outcome. He said, “I’m not trying to ‘save’ anybody; with all the tribulation on the planet, I’m just trying to give them hope in a better world that’s coming.” Some of his painful life experiences have been: two divorces, the death of his seven-year-old daughter through open-heart surgery, falling and fracturing his hip, the loss of his left eye through diabetes, and recently the loss of his kidneys and being on dialysis for eight months before he received a new kidney from his twenty-two-year-old daughter, DeleVan, lead singer for Van’sGuard along with her twin sister, SanSkritA.
TaliasVan is a published author and has written
The Cosmic Family, Volumes I and
II;
Teachings On Healing, From a Spiritual Perspective;
The Best of the Film Industry; and
The Sharp End of The Needle, expressing about his time on dialysis with the medical field and transplant experience. He has co-founded Global Community Communications Alliance (one of the largest EcoVillages in the United States and world); Soulistic Medical Institute and Hospice; Global Family Legal Services; and the Personality Integration Rehabilitation Program, —all nonprofit organizations,—as well as other service organizations to mankind.
